Trees, People and the Built Environment 4. International Urban Trees Research Conference

Birmingham, UK
Wed 22.04.2020 10:00 to Thu 23.04.2020 10:00

Every three years, the Institute of Chartered Foresters partners with academic institutions and chartered institutes to host an international cross-discipline conference on urban greenspace.

The conference – Trees, People and the Built Environment (TPBE) – provides a platform for the UK and international researchers and practitioners to showcase work in these areas and helps both built and natural environment professionals turn this research into action on the ground.

TPBE4 is hosted and organised by the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF) on behalf of a group of partner organisations, including: Academy of Urbanism, Arboricultural Association, British Association of Landscape Industries, Birmingham Institute of Forest Research (BIFoR) – University of Birmingham, Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management, Forestry Commission, Forest Research, Green Infrastructure Partnership, Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment, Institution of Civil Engineers, Landscape Institute, Society for the Environment, Town and Country Planning Association, The Tree Council, Trees & Design Action Group, Trees for Cities, Urban Design Group, and the Woodland Trust.
