Webinar on promotion of active mobility - 15th April at 14.00 (CET)
According to the UN, 68% of the world’s population will live in urban areas by 2050. If nothing changes, this will lead to a decrease in urban liveability and accessibility. As more children are living within densifying cities, it becomes increasingly urgent to create a child-friendly public realm.
Active mobility plays a vital role in contributing to a solution.
Compared to motorised modes, promoting active modes has many great advantages, like less pollution, healthier inhabitants, increased personal development of children and less space consumption. But what does it take to promote active modes amongst children?
During the webinar on the 15 of April, this question will be answered by discussing some theory, inspiring concepts focusing on child-friendliness and some best (design) practices.
