13. Österreichischer Radgipfel 2020

Vom 29. bis 31. März 2020 findet in Wien der 13. Österreichische Radgipfel statt. Fachleute aus Wissenschaft und Verwaltung sowie VertreterInnen aus Politik und NGOs diskutieren und erarbeiten Lösungen für mehr Radverkehr.

Der Österreichische Radgipfel ist eine Konferenz zum Radverkehr und zur Infrastruktur, den Services und Dienstleistungen, die es dafür benötigt. Bis zu 500 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus Österreich und den benachbarten Ländern beraten dabei im Zeichen des Klimaschutzes

Fahrradtraining in Graz- ein stadtweites Radfahrtraining für Kinder der vierten Volksschulstufe

Am Radfahrtraining „Profis auf der Straße“ nimmt der Großteil der Volksschulen in Graz mit den vierten Klassen teil. 2019 wurden ca. 2000 Kinder der vierten Schulstufe in 90 Klassen durch die Forschungsgesellschaft Mobilität – FGM trainiert. Mit Hilfe von Förderungen der Stadt Graz und der Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt kann das Fahrradtraining für alle Grazer Volksschulen, sowohl private als auch öffentliche, in Graz kostenlos angeboten werden. Die meisten Schulen in Graz nehmen dieses Angebot an.

30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

This year marks the 60th anniversary of UN General Assembly Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). As the most widely ratified international human rights treaty in history, the CRC has helped to ensure better protection for the rights of children across the globe. On a multilateral level, the EU places great emphasis on this topic.
