Placemaking Week Europe Valencia 2019

The Placemaking Week is the biggest festival celebrating the impact of placemaking on the urban fabric. This year the Placemaking Week revolved around five main topics: Placemaking for Innovation, Creative Bureaucracy, Open-source sharing from placemaking practice, Future-proof cities through placemaking and Waterfront cities.

The event brought together over 430 placemakers from bottom up initiatives, municipalities, development and economic firms,  international institutions, amongst many others. Within the growing global placemaking community we heard about new perspectives, shared experiences and tools.

It was a pleasure to share some outcomes of the Metamorphosis Project with the European Placemaking Network within the breakout session "Growing with the city".
